Payroll Advisor job responsibilities include:
Process New Hires/Internal transfers ensure compliance with HMRC and Policy.
Process Job Changes, this includes, salary, organisational and accounting structures.
Understand payroll calculations and processes
Liaise with Group providers for pensions, shares and Childcare Vouchers
Undertake monthly payroll checking prior to commit.
Sound payroll technical knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and be able to apply this to varied circumstances, terms, internal policies.
Be able to recognise the queries that should be escalated to the third (Payroll Administration Manager) or fourth (Head of UK Payroll) level and undertake this in a timely manner to reduce risk (to the business and the employee).
