CTS-Cardo are seeking to recruit additional Electrical Inspection & Test Engineers for new contracts in the Belfast and South Down Areas. 30 days annual leave Pension scheme Bereavement leave Death in service benefit Birthday day off Health Shield access to 24/7 counselling and wellbeing support MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Electrical Installation & Condition Testing as and when required Working in void and occupied premises Working in a commercial environment Experience in planned and cyclical maintenance Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that CTS expect Uphold Data Protection Policies Travel across Belfast & South Down Health & Safety : Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed Observe & follow all manual handling practices QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Fully qualified Electrician 18th Edition Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training Full UK Driving License C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing and BS 7671 3 years post apprenticeship experience Attributes/Skills: The successful candidate should: Be capable of working on own initiative Ability to work methodically and with attention to detail Good communication and organisational skills Have a good timekeeping and attendance record Have the ability to work with a wide range of people Be a good team player Demonstrate ability to follow written and verbal directions Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards assigned tasks Be reliable & committed Have ability to work to deadlines Participate in overtime when required (including weekends) Have ability to take on new skills Have a positive approach to continuous improvement processes and techniques In addition, As the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations properties, we will require a recent Enhanced Access NI certificate CTS will perform a Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.
