We’re making a difference: Together, we can ensure that there is enough water for everyone, now and in the future.
As an Asset Investment Planner, you will support the optimisation of the capital investment plan to deliver long-term value: you’ll make sure that every pound we spend delivers for our customer and the environment. You will contribute to achieving what we committed to do in our business plan such as our company priorities (Net Zero, Drinking Water Quality), while balancing operational risk and asset resilience.
Here are some real examples of what investment planning can look like in the water industry:
Upgrading Water Treatment Plants: You may help shape plans to improve water treatment plants, ensuring they meet evolving regulations and provide better water quality to communities.
Replacing Old Pipes: You might collaborate on planning the renewal of older pipes to reduce leaks and maintain a steady and reliable water supply.
Building New Reservoirs: You could participate in the design and coordination of new reservoirs to enhance water storage and prepare for dry seasons.
Implementing Smart Technology: You may support investments in smart technologies like sensors and automated systems to monitor water flow efficiently and reduce waste
