Join our Tax team as a Compliance Specialist, overseeing all tax compliance matters.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working pattern: 2-3 days per week in the office.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
MBDA are seeking a UK Tax Compliance Specialist to assist in all aspects of UK tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities include:
Reporting to the Head of UK Tax Compliance and Customs, you will be responsible for:
* the preparation, ready for review, of:
o Research & Development Expenditure Credit Claims.
o UK Corporation Tax Computations
o PAYE reporting returns including PSA, P11D(b) and share scheme return
o SAO report
* Supporting Central Finance with Monthly Tax Reporting, for statutory accounts and auditors queries
* Providing technical advice in support to Central Finance with VAT Return Preparation
* Supporting the Head of UK Tax Compliance & Customs with ad hoc tax compliance projects
What we're looking for from you:
* You'll be a qualified tax specialist (CTA or ATT) with proven experience in Corporate Taxes and tax reporting.
* We are looking for someone with the ability to tackle all aspects of UK Tax compliance
* Good accountancy knowledge would be advantageous
* Having worked in, either, another industry position or making a first move from practice, you will have strong technical skills that you can apply commercially.
