We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Groundworker to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with groundworks and site preparation, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. The ideal applicant will have relevant experience, a valid CSCS card, and a strong commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with excavation, levelling, and groundwork activities in accordance with project specifications
* Operating basic construction tools and machinery
* Ensuring the work area is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
* Supporting the team in setting up site equipment and materials
* Following health and safety regulations diligently throughout all tasks
* Assisting with the installation of kerbs, paving, or other ground-related elements as required
* Reporting any hazards or issues to the site supervisor promptly
Experience
* Valid CSCS card is essential
* Prior experience as a groundworker or in a similar construction role is desirable
* Knowledge of health and safety procedures on construction sites
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Good physical fitness and stamina for outdoor manual work in various weather conditions
* Basic understanding of construction tools and machinery is advantageous
