OLG Recruitment are currently recruiting for HSE Compliance Coordinator to work for a client based in Worcester. This is a temporary contract position working 39 hours per week, for approx. 6 months. Working hours will be Mon Thurs 7am 3.30pm, Friday 7am 2pm.
Position Summary:
Reporting into the Asset Planning and Workshop Manager, the incumbent will work in the Engineering Workshop in Worcester, focused on EH&S related activities within the Workshop.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop and update risk assessments for workshop activities and equipment.
Write and revise Workshop Work Instructions (WWIs).
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Manage the scrapping and disposal of obsolete or non-compliant materials in line with EH&S and company policies.
Implement corrective actions from EH&S audits.
Collaborate with workshop staff to ensure procedures are practical and understood.
Assist in preparing documentation and evidence for audits.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHNS reporting.
Improve workshop setup and layout and enact changes via the management of change process.
Ensure compliance with Regulations and EHSQ policies and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in EHNS, workshop operations, or technical documentation.
Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and safety standards.
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Experience in process improvement or lean methodologies is desirable.
