Our client, an established environmental and planning consultancy is urgently looking to appoint a Planning Consultant to join their team in Chester. The company hold an excellent reputation in the market and work on a wide variety of projects.
The successful candidate will have:
* Demonstrable planning experience
* Chartered status with the RTPI or will be working towards this
* Previous project management experience
* Extensive experience in the coordination of EIA's
* A proven ability to write professional reports
Within the role the successful Planning Consultant will be:
* Coordinating planning applications for a range of client projects within the renewables sector including solar, wind energy storage and hydro developments
* Coordinating EIA projects
* Managing projects and sub-consultants
* Developing new business opportunities and preparing tenders
* Liaising with clients
