We are delighted to be supporting a leading healthcare organisation in their search for a Product Manager, to drive growth and development of their dental imaging portfolio across the UK and Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a blend of clinical, technical, and commercial expertise, who is passionate about driving market development and providing exceptional customer engagement.
About the Role:
In this national, field-based position, you will take on the responsibility of overseeing and managing the dental imaging product range, ensuring strong market penetration, commercial success, and deep clinical engagement. You will act as the in-house expert for dental imaging products, working closely with clinicians, commercial teams, and product manufacturers to enhance product positioning and drive sales opportunities.
This role involves regular travel across the UK, as well as occasional international travel for product training, supplier meetings, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Expertise & Clinical Engagement - Become the in-house expert for the dental imaging portfolio, presenting product capabilities confidently to clinicians and stakeholders. Stay updated on product features, competitive advantages, and industry trends.
2. Market & Competitor Insight - Develop a deep understanding of the UK and Ireland dental imaging market. Track competitor activity and maintain accurate CRM records of potential and existing customers.
3. Business Development & Sales - Identify and develop commercial opportunities, lead product demonstrations, and support the commercial team with tenders and proposals. Share insights and leads across the wider sales team.
4. Networking & Representation - Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders and represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and supplier events.
Package
5. Basic salary up to £50k
6. Bonus £10k
7. Company car, lunch allowance, pension, holiday, plus wider business perks.
Who We're Looking For:
We're seeking a dynamic, proactive individual with strong business acumen and a deep understanding of healthcare imaging, ideally within the dental or medical device sector. You should be able to communicate confidently and professionally, with a keen ability to manage complex product portfolios and commercial opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
8. Previous sales experience within the medical device sector is essential, ideally within medical imaging/ radiology.
9. Strong technical skills - a clinical background within imaging would be highly desirable, ideally within dental imaging, but also X-Ray, CT, MRI or fluoroscopy
10. Understanding of the sales processes within the NHS, comfortable having discussions with customers at all levels of seniority, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
11. Strong business acumen with a commercial focus.
12. Full, clean UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
Additional Requirements:
13. Flexibility to work early mornings, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays.
14. Willingness to travel overseas for training and supplier meetings.
15. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
