Assistant Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator role at Hill Group UK. We’re looking for an ambitious and driven individual to support the delivery of high-quality homes and vibrant communities.
Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing design and statutory utility fee proposals for budgets, tenders, and control documents.
* Support preconstruction activities on a range of residential developments, focusing on less complex projects.
* Liaise with consultants and statutory utilities to gather, track, and manage key project documentation.
* Work closely with estimating, commercial, construction, and technical teams to ensure seamless preconstruction delivery.
* Participate in internal and client meetings, helping to drive quality, compliance, and coordination at every stage.
You’ll be supported by a Senior Preconstruction Technical Coordinator or Technical Director and gain exposure to end-to-end preconstruction processes.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Working towards or achieved a relevant qualification (Degree, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 5).
* Skilled in organisation, time management, and communication.
* Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about all components of a tender submission.
* Familiar with design standards, Building Regulations, CDM requirements, and statutory processes.
* Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and keen to build knowledge in utility coordination and compliance.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) are essential; a basic understanding of BIM Level 2, Golden Thread principles, and the client journey will be advantageous.
