About the role:
1. Assists with the administration of Free Early Education Entitlement funding for children aged 9 months to 4-year-olds, collecting funding data from a high volume of childcare providers across Cheshire East which is used to calculate and process free entitlement payments.
2. Contributes to projects that ensure sufficient, high-quality childcare across Cheshire East.
3. Prepares reports, issues funding agreements, and takes accurate minutes for meetings involving a wide range of professionals and providers.
4. Handles routine and non-routine enquiries in line with policies and procedures.
5. Works collaboratively within a supportive team environment to deliver excellent service.

About you:
6. You’ll have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
7. You’ll demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work.
8. You’ll have experience of processing high volumes of data with a high monetary value.
9. You’ll be confident in communicating with parents, schools, childcare providers, and professionals.
10. You’ll ideally bring experience and a good working knowledge of early years education entitlement funding.
11. You’ll have the ability to manage sensitive and or confidential information in an appropriate way.
12. You’ll be a team player who values collaboration and can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
13. You’ll be proactive, approachable, flexible and committed to delivering high-quality support.
