Job Description:
A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced surveyor to manage the maintenance, compliance, and minor project work needed across this company's Midlands portfolio.
Working remotely (based from home), you'll utilize your skills as a project manager, building surveyor, facilities manager, or similar to visit various sites and assess the condition of properties as needed.
Building relationships with each site team is crucial, ensuring oversight of both planned maintenance and reactive issues that can't be handled on-site. You'll also be responsible for estate compliance, so experience with compliance and facilities management is important. Additionally, you'll organize project work through JCT contracts, including writing specifications, tendering to contractors, and ensuring quality of work.
You don't need to be chartered, but experience working autonomously across multiple sites is beneficial. Project delivery experience of up to £300k, along with some experience in facilities, compliance, and maintenance, is necessary.
