Family Solicitor - Hybrid
Leicester/ Market Harborough
£40,000 to £80,000

The Role
Providing clear, timely, and practical advice to family law clients
Managing your own caseload while keeping clients regularly updated on progress and costs
Preparing and drafting a wide range of family law documents, including divorce petitions, financial statements, and court applications
Meeting clients, taking instructions, and representing them with professionalism and empathy
Attending court where needed
Supporting colleagues within the team and providing cover during absences
Getting involved in business development, including writing articles, attending networking events, and building strong client relationships
Taking responsibility for the financial and administrative aspects of your cases
Helping to mentor junior team members where required
You
A qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with 2–7 years PQE in family law
Comfortable managing a varied caseload, including divorce, finances, and children matters
Strong drafting and advocacy skills, with excellent attention to detail
A confident communicator who builds strong client relationships with ease
Organised, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Someone with a commercial outlook who enjoys contributing to the growth of the department
Able to travel occasionally to the Market Harborough office
