Position: Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist
Join our friendly, dedicated community teams to help ensure children and young people in East Sussex receive the start in life they deserve. The role involves travel within East Sussex to meet caseload needs across three clinical bases.
You will be part of a service integrated with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, working in clinics, schools, nurseries, and family homes. We focus on holistic care, offering varied and fulfilling work.
Our induction program includes regular meetings, clinical supervision, appraisals, and training opportunities. We encourage participation in service improvement and evidence-based practice, supporting your clinical skill development for a varied paediatric caseload.

Car ownership is essential, subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act (1995).
This role is based in our Integrated Care Team supporting children and young people with complex needs, both preschool and in local special schools across East Sussex.
You will provide direct support to children and young people and assist schools through targeted and universal interventions. We have established strong relationships with local special schools to identify training needs and develop new ways of working.
Knowledge of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) is required, and there is an opportunity to undertake dysphagia training.
As a Band 7, you will lead the team, support workload planning, and manage your clinical caseload.
