Role Purpose:
Build skillset and succession plan/resilience for the Malvern Workshop. The Malvern workshop responds to R&D requirements from all/any projects, typically from scientists and engineers looking to explore ideas. We need to develop an induvial and a range of experience levels in the workshop. We are looking for someone who loves solving problems with their hands.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Take on board new skills

3. Learning machining and assembly skills
4. Learning hand tool skills
5. Reading of technical drawings
6. Understanding design concepts and process
7. Learning about configuration control and quality management systems
8. Geometric Tolerancing and Inspection
9. Workshop maintenance/husbandry
10. Health & Safety in the Workshop environment
11. Good Communicator at all levels
12. Good Time Management Skills
