I am currently working with a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the nuclear, oil & gas, renewables and many more industries. With a global workforce focused on enhancing efficiency and implementing critical technology into these sites.
They are currently looking for a skilled Lead Automation Engineer with expert knowledge of integrated control systems experience, able to guide the successful technical delivery of a complete project solution manage the onsite team through the project and help to bring on new clients by assisting the sales process.
* Extensive experience of the complete project life cycle from system specification through design, development, testing and commissioning is an absolute must have for this role.
* Hands on experience of PLC and SCADA systems - any major provider.
* A good understanding of Control panels, electrical installation and Instrumentation.
* A Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Control Systems or relevant discipline preferred
* Chartered Engineer status beneficial

* IOT and Edge Computing (NodeRed, MQTT etc)
* Network design and configuration
* Cyber Security
