What is the opportunity?
The role involves working within RBC’s Investment Banking team, specifically with the Industrials and Business Services sector. The associate will support senior bankers in executing corporate finance, M&A, and financing transactions related to this sector.
What will you do?
* Support the execution of transactions, including taking a leading role on specific project work streams.
* Prepare new business presentations, meetings, and perform related duties.
* Collaborate with Analysts to develop pitch books and client materials.
* Gather public information from various sources.
* Conduct financial modeling and analyses.
* Review and adhere to Firm Policies applicable to your activities.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
* Experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance within an Investment Bank.
* Strong understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modeling.
* Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with solid knowledge of corporate finance and accounting.
* Highly motivated, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
* Initiative and independence, balanced with strong teamwork skills.
* Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
