We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping team. You will be ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry and housekeeping services, including packing hire linen into property packs, delivering to properties, coordinating with self-employed cleaners, conducting property checks, resolving housekeeping issues, and handling lost property and guest queries. Your ability to multitask and collaborate effectively will help maintain our high standards of service. This role will be crucial in delivering linen to our properties across the area and so a valid driving licence is required.
As Linen Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the following areas of accountability:
With use of a fleet vehicle, delivery of linen to properties acros the John Bray portfolio.
Progressing the day-to-day operation of the Property Services Housekeeping function, building an essential rapport with our suppliers, progressing guest complaints, assisting with any issues at a property, checking properties and spot-checking suppliers.
The count of freshly laundered linen delivery onto the shelf, recording shortfalls and rejects.
With use of a fleet vehicle; Working with suppliers over telephone, email, WhatsApp or face to face on a daily basis to ensure changeovers are completed as expected.
Providing practical information and feedback to the Local Supplier Lead to promote performance of the department.
Whilst experience in a similar role is advantageous, we will provide everything you need to succeed, training you up within our bustling team and supporting you every step of the way!
