Quantity Surveyor - Residential Housebuilding
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading UK residential developer for a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy Commercial team within a growing Business Unit.
This role supports the procurement, commercial, and contractual delivery of residential projects, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with procurement, cost control, and commercial management
* Scheduling and quantifying materials and labour
* Processing applications, payments, variations, and day works
* Supporting budgets, CVRs, cash flow, and cost-to-complete reporting
* Monitoring and reporting project cost movements
* Attending site regularly and supporting valuations
Requirements
* Knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and H&S standards
* Industry-related qualification (or working towards)
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* IT literate, COINS experience preferred
