Overview

Responsibilities
* Manage the day to day running of the shift teams on the SLF plant, including staff holidays and sickness management.
* Provide adequate and appropriate training to ensure site operations have sufficient resources.
* Participate in the site/facility QHS meetings, actively promoting environmental awareness and Health and safety standards.
* Work with the site management team to ensure day-to-day site operations are run in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.
* Provide daily tasks to, and supervise a team of operatives ensuring priorities in line with site requirements.
* Provide cover for the Site Operations Manager role as and when required.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of COMAH / MAH / OSSOW (Operational Safe Systems of Work).
* Previous work within the waste treatment or chemical processing industry, plant control systems and equipment.
* Knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental systems.
* FLT trained.
* Driving licence advisable.
