Overview
Join to apply for the Seasonal Retail Sales Assistant role at The Works Stores Ltd. Fixed Term Contract ending on 31st December 2025. While we can’t promise permanent roles during the festive period, there is often potential for seasonal colleagues to be considered for permanent roles after the initial contract.
Responsibilities
* Excite and Delight: provide friendly service and inspire customers to read, learn, create, or play with our products.
* Loyalty Ambassador: help customers plan a satisfying festive experience and show value for money at The Works.
* Merchandising Marvel: follow planograms for key product areas and use creativity in non-planogrammed spaces to attract attention.
* Deliveries: manage deliveries, price and label products, and maintain organized stockrooms and shop floor displays.
* Have fun: engage with customers and colleagues, contributing to a welcoming store environment during the holiday season.
Requirements / Skills & Behaviours
* Genuine and authentic: positive, creative, and customer-focused with a passion for our brand and products.
* Resilient and adaptable: able to handle fast-paced retail, busy days, heavy deliveries, and multitask effectively.
* Stock management: capable of sorting, pricing, and merchandising deliveries and maintaining stock integrity.
