Role: Microbiology Consultant
Rates: £95.00 - £105.00 per hour PAYE
Shifts: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, also to carry out some on-calls (No remote working available)
Working flexible shifts at Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals, you will enjoy close working relationships with your fellow healthcare professionals as you work to liaise between clinical colleagues in the hospital, GPs and laboratory staff while being a pillar of clinical and educational support for junior Microbiologists and Virologists.
Responsibilities
* Liaise between clinical colleagues in the hospital, GPs and laboratory staff.
* Provide clinical and educational support for junior Microbiologists and Virologists.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality of microbiology services.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
* MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent.
* Full with Specialist GMC registration
* Inclusion on GMC's Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT or CESR (CP) at interview.
* Minimum of 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
* A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
