Key Responsibilities
Conduct support planning with individuals and families, ensuring a thorough and person-centred approach.
Undertake regular reviews to monitor progress and adjust plans where needed.
Collaborate on Section 42 safeguarding cases, ensuring robust protection for vulnerable adults.
Attend home visits and drop-in clinics to provide direct support.
Engage in twice-weekly office meetings for professional development and team coordination.
Participate in Teams interviews promptly to secure your placement within the Hodge Hill and Yardley Assessment Team.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Experience in assessment work, with a preference for those familiar with Birmingham City Council practices.
Driving licence preferred to enable travel between appointments.
Placement or post-qualification experience in a similar setting is highly desirable.
