Strategic Sourcing Manager, Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats (MCDT)
Fixed‑term contract: 18 months.
Location: UK – Hybrid working model, minimum 2 days per week in the Slough office.
Salary: £58,500‑£69,000 annual, bonus and benefits.

MCDT is a UK‑based Mars Wrigley unit focused on growth in new snacking categories through co‑manufacturing partnerships.
The Role
Lead sourcing strategy, supplier performance and innovation to drive MCDT’s long‑term success. Collaborate cross‑functionally and manage key stakeholder relationships.
What we’re looking for
* Significant procurement experience, delivering innovation and sourcing strategies.
* Strong financial acumen and communication skills.
* Proven relationship‑building ability with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Experience in Strategic Sourcing & Category Management.
* Willingness to travel (~20 % mainly within Europe & UK).
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet business goals.
* Manage supplier relationships, quality, service, and cost efficiencies.
* Identify, negotiate, and qualify new co‑manufacturers.
* Drive continuous operational improvement and compliance.
* Ensure risk management across IP, quality control, and finances.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders and regional teams.
