Wealth Administrator Berwick upon Tweed We are seeking an experienced and proactive Wealth Administrator to join a respected financial services firm based in Berwick upon Tweed. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting advisers, paraplanners, and clients, while contributing to the efficiency and success of a growing team. Job Type: Full time, 37 hours per week (Permanent) The Role As a Wealth Administrator, youll be a reliable point of contact for both technical and operational support. Youll manage your own workload, contribute to smooth case progression, and help uphold the highest standards across the business. Key Responsibilities Provide accurate and timely administrative support to advisers and paraplanners. Take ownership of your workload, ensuring deadlines and service standards are met. Act as a go-to person for process and system queries, promoting best practice. Assist with quality checks and maintain compliance across documentation. Support onboarding and informal training of new team members. Liaise with providers, paraplanning, and compliance teams to resolve queries. Identify risks, gaps, or client concerns, escalating where appropriate. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and projects. About You Experience: Strong background in financial planning or wealth management administration. Knowledge: Understanding of the advice process, FCA/COBS compliance, and documentation lifecycle. Systems: Confident using back-office systems (e.g. Xplan) and liaising with platforms/providers. Skills: Excellent attention to detail Strong organisational/time-management abilities Clear communicator, both written and verbal Able to work independently and collaboratively Mindset: Proactive, supportive, and improvement-focused. Desirable: Level 3 Certificate in Regulated Financial Services Operations (or progression toward). What Success Looks Like Delivering accurate, timely work with minimal rework.
