Thrive Education are delighted to be recruiting for a passionate and nurturing EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and community-focused primary school on a full-time basis from after Easter.
This small, one-form entry school provides a warm and inclusive environment where every child is known and valued as an individual. With a strong emphasis on early years development, the school offers a rich, play-based curriculum that supports children’s curiosity, independence and love of learning from the very start of their education.
The Early Years setting is thoughtfully designed to promote exploration, creativity and confidence, with both indoor and outdoor learning spaces used to enhance children’s development. Staff work closely together to create a supportive and engaging atmosphere, ensuring all pupils feel safe, happy and ready to thrive.
With a class of 21 pupils, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, building strong relationships with children and families while supporting each child’s academic, social and emotional growth.
The Role
1. Full class responsibility for an EYFS class of 21 pupils
2. Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
3. Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment
4. Supporting children’s early development across all areas of learning
5. Observing, assessing and tracking pupil progress
6. Working closely with support staff, colleagues and parents
The Ideal Candidate
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
8. Experience within Early Years Foundation Stage
9. A strong understanding of child development and early learning
10. A nurturing and patient approach to teaching
11. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
12. A creative and enthusiastic attitude
