DBIS is seeking an enthusiastic, qualified Secondary School Psychology teacher to join our expanding international school. This vital role makes the successful candidate the sole Psychology specialist, responsible for leading the entire subject. The successful candidate will teach and support students through the three-year IGCSE programme (Years 9–11) and ensure maximum success in the challenging AS and A Level qualifications (Years 12–13).
To be considered, it is essential to have:
* A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Psychology or a closely related field;
* A relevant postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS);
* Experience teaching (I)GCSE and A Level Psychology to a high standard (applications from IB Psychology teachers will also be accepted).
It is desirable to have:
* A master’s or postgraduate qualification in a related subject;
* Experience teaching EAL students (English as an Additional Language and English Second Language);
All new teachers are offered two-year renewable contracts and a competitive compensation package, with a gratuity of 18.75%, an additional monthly cash allowance, remuneration of school fees for one child and full medical and dental insurance for the employee.
