UN COMN is seeking a Software Tester to: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, cases, and scripts covering functional, regression, performance, integration, user acceptance, and operational testing. Collaborate with developers to build, maintain, and enhance automated tests using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks. Analyze requirements to create effective test strategies, set up and maintain test environments, and manage test data. Identify, log, and track defects through resolution, ensuring fixes are verified and quality standards are met. Actively contribute to team meetings and design reviews with quality-focused insights. Document test results, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and deliver clear quality metrics and reports. Requirements 4 years of related experience. To meet (or exceed) DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) certification/education requirements for Testing and Evaluation Specialist (671 - Intermediate), interested candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering or an active CEH, CFR, Cloud, GSEC, PenTest, Security, SSCP, or CCSP certification. Must hold an active security clearance (secret or higher) granted by the U.S. government. Familiarity with SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control, and hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or JUnit. Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., NIST, Section 508) or quality frameworks (e.g., ISO, CMMI). Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or Agile-related QA credentials. Why UN COMN?
