JOB SUMMARY

B-Stock is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist specialized in Strategy to lead data-driven decision-making within our Client Operations team. In this role, you will work independently to design and execute innovative initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to address complex challenges. As a senior individual contributor, you will collaborate closely with Account Managers (AMs) and other stakeholders, serving as the primary advocate for Strategic Operations. Your ability to analyze multifaceted data, develop actionable strategies, and lead cross-functional collaborations will play a pivotal role in achieving client success and advancing B-Stock’s mission.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Testing and Analysis

2. Design and execute strategic tests to optimize operational processes and improve client outcomes.
3. Analyze complex, multifaceted data sets to identify trends, derive insights, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
4. Leverage data-driven insights to develop and refine client-focused operational strategies.
5. Track and assess the performance of strategic tests to measure effectiveness and inform decision-making.
6. Continuously evaluate and enhance testing methodologies to ensure robust and reliable results.

7. Stakeholder and Client Facilitation

8. Serve as the primary advocate for Strategic Operations, ensuring alignment with client and organizational goals.
9. Present findings, strategies, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
10. Be able to answer questions on the spot or know how to manage the situation if you don't have the answer.
11. Foster cross-functional relationships to ensure the seamless implementation of strategic initiatives.

12. Documentation and Reporting

13. Create, manage, and update thorough documentation of workflows, strategies, and insights to support knowledge sharing and maintain consistency.
14. Develop comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate complex data and insights in an accessible format.
15. Establish and maintain standardized documentation practices to ensure accuracy, currency, and accessibility of all materials.
16. Conduct regular reviews to ensure documentation and reports are of high quality.
17. Collect and incorporate stakeholder feedback to continually enhance the quality and relevance of documentation and reports.
18. Provide training and support on best practices for documentation and reporting to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

19. Leadership and Continuous Improvement

20. Serve as a strategic leader within the Client Operations team, driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
21. Help drive team success by exemplifying strong leadership and offering proactive support to team members and management.
22. Align initiatives across teams, contribute to daily operations, and influence positive change to achieve organizational goals.
23. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance recovery and operational efficiency.
24. Be bold in making suggestions and advocating for strategic changes that drive value for clients and the organization.
25. Actively seek feedback from team members, clients, and stakeholders to identify and address areas for improvement.
26. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance the organization's competitive advantage.
27. Utilize key performance indicators and other relevant metrics to assess project success quantitatively.

28. Project Management and Execution

29. Drive continuous improvement, manage projects end-to-end, and advocate for efficiency-enhancing changes.
30. Drive projects independently, from inception through completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
31. Manage time and resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and objectives.
32. Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to achieve project goals.
33. Implement quality control measures and conduct thorough reviews to ensure high standards in project deliverables.
34. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges during the project lifecycle.
35. Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and resources by assessing impact, communicating with stakeholders, and adjusting plans accordingly.

36. Production Work

37. Dedicate 20-30% of work to production tasks to stay in tune with day-to-day operations, primarily through Lotting.
38. Engage in routine operational activities to comprehensively understand the team's daily challenges and processes.
39. Ensure strategic goals are aligned with the capabilities and limitations of the production team.
40. Leverage hands-on experience and operational insights to inform and refine strategic decisions and initiatives.

41. Cross-Functional Collaboration

42. Collaborate with AMs and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective implementation of strategic initiatives.
43. Work closely with the client operations organization to understand and address the challenges of applying strategic initiatives.
44. Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic operations, ensuring cohesive and effective communication across teams.
45. Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring all relevant teams are informed, engaged, and aligned in working towards common goals.
46. Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during the implementation of strategic initiatives in a timely and professional manner.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

47. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
48. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights and recommendations effectively.
49. Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
50. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
51. Proficiency in data analysis tools specifically Tableau and Metabase.
52. Proven ability to manage time effectively and drive projects independently.
53. Solid project management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
54. Hands-on experience in operational tasks, with a willingness to engage in routine production work.

The pay rate for this role will range between $28 to $30, per hour. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant’s work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.
