About the Role
We are looking to recruit Personal Assistants for young people up to the age of 17 years (on behalf of families in Widnes or Runcorn).
A Personal Assistant works directly with one or more individuals to support them with various aspects of their daily life so that they can live it in a way they choose. You will be employed directly by the family of the person who needs care and support.
Responsibilities
* Assist with communication, physical tasks, and facilitation of activities as agreed with the family.
* Provide some level of personal care, depending on the child's needs.
* Support the individual in the home, at leisure, or at work.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience with young children is desirable.
* Previous work with disabilities is an advantage; training will be provided if needed.
* Completion of online training in Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, and Manual Handling.
* Full enhanced DBS check required before starting.
Eligibility & Working Conditions
Minimum required age: 17 years. Must be eligible to work in the UK and ideally live in Halton or surrounding boroughs.
Hours vary per family and will be agreed upon. After‑school hours and weekends required.
Salary: £12.21 per hour. Drivers preferred.
