Senior Psychologist – Integrated Mental Healthcare Team, HMP Stocken (Category C training prison, 1,056 residents, aged 21‑40)
Hours
Part‑time: 22.5 hours per week, 3 days (Monday‑Friday, flexible).
Salary
Up to £61,190 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) via training, supervision and reflective practice.
* Conduct psychological assessments and support complex, multidisciplinary formulations.
* Deliver 1:1 and group interventions as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme.
* Provide teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff.
* Develop audit, service evaluation and research initiatives.
* Manage two Assistant Psychologists and supervise junior staff.
* Plan, review and deliver specialist psychological treatment packages for complex cases.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and update the PTS dashboard.
* Participate in ACCT and segregation reviews; provide psychological opinion on management and referrals.
* Support CPD and peer supervision within the wider team.
* Advise on policy, service development, and recruitment activities.
* Lead research, audit and service evaluation projects; prepare reports for internal and external audiences.
* Attend regional and national professional meetings; adhere to HCPC, BPS, and other professional codes.

Requirements
* Full HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist.
* Proven experience in Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychology.
* Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients.
* Experience with psychological trauma.
* Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Additional vetting and security checks will be required due to the nature of the role.
