The role: Account Manager (Commercial Insurance)
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join our team in our Kendal office on a hybrid working basis. The successful applicant will manage their own portfolio of clients and be responsible for servicing a range of commercial insurance policies.
This is the perfect role for someone with a previous background in Commercial Insurance, whether that is Claims or Underwriting looking to move into a client focused Account Manager role or for an experienced Account Manager looking to develop their Commercial Insurance skills and knowledge further within a Global Market Leader.

This role also offers hybrid working with an expectation to be in the office a few days per week.

We will rely on you to:
8. Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes.
9. Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
10. Manage all day to day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments
11. Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
12. Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
13. Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients
What you need to have:
14. Commercial Insurance knowledge Ideal however that can be from a Handler, Underwriting or Claims background
15. Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
16. Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities
