About the role As an electrician at Bromford Flagship LiveWest, you will maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and heating systems in domestic and commercial properties, including PPM, repairs, and installations such as lighting, pumps, boiler controls, hot water systems, HVAC, and rewires. Join Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL), a leading affordable housing provider supporting almost 300,000 customers across the southwest, central and east of England. We deliver over 3,000 new homes each year and are committed to safe, affordable housing and stronger communities. The role will operate across Central South, North Stratford, Dudley, and Northampton. This is an 11-month fixed-term contract position. What we're looking for Experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent time served City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification AM2 qualification preferred but not essential Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices Proficiency with IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Commitment to Bromford's values and acting as a positive ambassador for the organisation Full, clean driving licence Proactive, flexible attitude to work and travel Additional requirements An enhanced DBS check is required (we will arrange this for you) Right to work in the UK Original copies of qualifications may be requested Benefits package Company van with an electric option (subject to availability) Out-of-Hours Service Rate - £835 per week: This fixed rate covers being on an out-of-hours on-call rota, including availability, support, and first-time fix payments during these hours. Overtime: Paid opportunities available regularly Annual leave: 27 days per year, plus bank holidays, with an option to buy or sell up to 5 days Pension options: Choose from two pension schemes, with employer contributions of up to 10% Personal benefits fund: £500 annual allowance for benefits such as private medical insurance, dental treatment, critical illness cover, or gym membership Health and wellbeing services: Free access to 24/7 GP services, counselling, legal advice, and more Retail discounts: Save money on groceries, clothing, electronics, and more Coffee card: Receive up to £30 per month on a drinks card, which can be used to buy hot or cold drinks while working in the field.
