As a Project Manager, you will ensure adherence to and application of recognized PM principles under the leadership of a Program Executive. You will act as the focal point for all aspects of the account and provide the Program Executive with information necessary to manage the program. You will also be the primary customer contact and will manage all phases of the product lifecycle. Key Accountabilities: Accountable for cost, schedule, and delivery of Naval Handling production and support work packages Act as the focal point for all aspects related to the work packages and provide the Program Executive with information necessary to make senior level portfolio management decisions Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes and coordinates the preparation of business plans, work statements, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract Complete basis of estimates for supporting proposal and contractual change orders Assist in requirements analysis and development of statements of work Establish, develop, and maintain the work breakdown structure necessary to deliver the program Define Control Account level task schedules and appropriately constrain them to the milestones of their higher-level schedules Ensure the Management Control System requirements are followed for all control accounts under their control and ensure that the schedules and resource forecasts are fully integrated Identify and analyze significant actual or potential cost and/or schedule variances; resolve variance conflicts or concerns and integrate recovery plans where required Organize and chair schedule review meetings and highlight areas that require escalation to the Program Executive Ensure the implementation of effective and efficient risk management processes for requisite packages of work Ensure that key milestones and associated gate reviews are conducted, and project teams are fully prepared for the review on time to meet the business and customer requirements Conduct Project Management best practices and ensure the teams have access to delivery enabling tools and methods Implement lessons learnt process and application of it on requisite project elements Ability to travel up to 15% Rolls-Royce is a Military Friendly Employer.
