Sales Engineer Shrewsbury £45,000 - £55,000 Plus Bonus
Are you an experienced Sales Engineer who has been working within a technical role driving new business, client retention and territory growth? If so then this could be perfect for your next career move. Working with one of the largest OEM manufacturing in Metrology this position would suit someone who has experience of machinery sales with the ability to translate technical specifications of machines into non-technical terms for customers to understand.
This Sales Engineering role would include the opportunity to earn up to around £15,000 bonus each year and would also be allocated either a company car or car allowance giving the total OTE of role to be around £70,000 for the right person!
Sales Engineers Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales of metrology products and services by building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
* Conduct regular field visits across the UK (and occasionally Europe) to identify opportunities and close deals.
* Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, including attending trade shows and using digital channels.
* Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and manage orders in line with company standards
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored technical solutions that meet client needs.
Skills & Experience Required as a Sales Engineer:
* Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within the metrology or precision measurement industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
* Confident in developing customer relationships and understanding specific business needs.
* Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a desire to continuously improve and support others.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
