To support me to access the community safely and to get me out and walking again. Potential to also take me to certain appointments. Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).
I am an 82-year-old woman living in the Porth area. I have always been a keen walker (though not as fast as I once was) and have walked through Brecon many times. I am very chatty and sociable and will talk about anything, I also have a good sense of humour. I enjoy listening to music.
I have a visual impairment which has stopped me going out alone and causes me anxiety about going out now.

I have 4 hours per week available. The hours will not be worked on Tuesday or Thursday but flexible on times and days outside of this.
RATES OF PAY
£13.50 per hour plus 40p per mile where applicable.
