Senior Finance Analyst RTR - Controlling

DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:
* Perform accounting processes in scope for a range of sites, customers or functions as directed like month end, reconciliations (i.e. Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue Rec, etc.), fixed assets accounting etc.
* Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, Finance Business Partners and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes
* Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making
* Effectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope
* Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production
* Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations
* Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management
* Support change programmes
* Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting Manager
* Manage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are met
* Ad hoc tasks as required, any other purchasing or operational admin related activities as required by the Controller or Manager
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
* 2-3 Years experience of performing accounting in a logistics or similar industry would be a preference
* Experience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preference
* Effective time management skills
* Clear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work well in a team
* Strong financial and analytical skills
