We are seeking a dedicated and organised Science Technician to join the Science Department at one of our partner secondary schools in Derbyshire. This part-time role is perfect for someone with a keen interest in science and a strong attention to detail, supporting both staff and students in delivering engaging and practical lessons.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and set up materials, equipment, and chemicals for science lessons
* Ensure the safe storage, maintenance, and disposal of laboratory materials
* Support teachers during practical sessions when required
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in the labs
* Comply with health and safety regulations and procedures

Who We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Science Technician (or similar lab-based role) preferred
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* A good understanding of laboratory health and safety practices
* Team player with a proactive and reliable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
