Job Description
NESBReC collates, manages, and provides biological information for the North East of Scotland. It serves as a hub for biological data, with over 2.6 million records used by partners, decision-makers, education and conservation bodies, national recording schemes, and the wider community to assist with land use planning, conservation, site management, and research.
Aberdeenshire Council is seeking to fill a part-time post, job-shared with the existing part-time NESBReC Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated, with familiarity with biological recording infrastructure, recording schemes, and recording organisations.
The post holder must demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
