Our clients vary in size, some as small as 10 people, and others employing several hundred. We have an exciting opportunity for a full time HR Consultant to join our friendly team. The HR Consultant role is a dynamic, client-facing role suited to an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality HR support. You will play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of employee relations (ER) matters, providing practical advice, whilst ensuring full compliance with current employment legislation. You will have the ability to navigate complex HR processes, providing advice and guidance to our wide-range of clients. It is therefore imperative that you have a strong understanding and proven experience of ER casework, particularly in the following areas: Investigation, Disciplinary, Grievance, Redundancy, Short Time Working processes and Absence procedures. The Role Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Support clients on a range of HR and ER subjects, including performance, absence, conduct, disciplinary and redundancy; 2. Support clients on ER casework in a timely and effective manner; 3. Make recommendations to clients on their HR practices; 4. Review Employee Handbooks, Contracts of Employment and policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvements; 5. Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted HR advisor; 6. Manage Long-Term sickness absence cases for clients, including organising occupational health referrals and follow up; 7. Manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously; 8. UK driving license holder, as you will be expected to travel to client sites as and when required, in line with business needs: 9. Deliver training on a range of HR subjects, including how to conduct effective investigations, managing performance and handling difficult conversations. About You You will want to make a positive difference to our clients, and you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, where flexibility and variety is something you are used to. You should possess the following: * Provide expert HR advice to clients on a variety of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues; * Manage ER casework from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective resolution; * Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted HR advisor; * Support clients in navigating complex and sensitive workplace issues with confidence and professionalism; * Deliver clear, pragmatic advice aligned with employment law and best practice; * Work efficiently within a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases and priorities simultaneously with ease; * Maintain accurate records and documentation for all casework; * CIPD Level 3 (or above) qualification essential.
