This is a hands-on, high-impact role where youll contribute directly to project delivery, technical standards, and the development of others. What Youll Be Doing Youll play a key role across the full lifecycle of heat network projects, including: Design: Leading or contributing to the design of new and existing heat networks, optimising performance and efficiency Technical Assurance / Guardian Role: Reviewing designs, contractor information, and site installations to ensure compliance and quality Performance Monitoring: Supporting post-occupancy evaluation to ensure systems meet operational targets Optimisation & Troubleshooting: Improving existing systems, diagnosing issues, and developing practical solutions Funding Support: Assisting with applications for government funding schemes such as the Heat Network Efficiency Scheme (HNES) Standards Development: Creating tools, guidance, and internal resources to support consistent, high-quality delivery Mentorship: Supporting and guiding graduate and junior engineers Why Join?
