Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
* Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
* Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
* Engage with customers to promote a positive atmosphere and encourage repeat visits
* Follow all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is essential
* Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
* Experience in serving drinks in a busy setting will be beneficial
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
* Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
* Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
