Principal Electrical Engineer
Location: Bournemouth or Reading
We provide a wide range of engineering and consultancy services, including acoustics, air quality, building services (MEP), fire, lighting, security, and sustainability. About The Role
We have a new opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer based in Bournemouth or Reading. You will support and deliver designs for various project types, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
* Technical delivery of electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects across building sectors.
* Developing strategic concepts ensuring compliance with standards.
* Engaging with stakeholders, attending meetings, and translating project briefs.
* Monitoring project budgets and resources with the team leader.
* Mentoring and supporting junior professionals.
About You
To succeed, you should have:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, delivering complex projects.
* Experience with BIM, Revit, Dialux, Relux, and other relevant software.
* Experience working with clients, contractors, and architects.
* Strong communication skills, self-awareness, and a collaborative spirit.
* Experience mentoring others.
