About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
For you, as a Housekeeping Assistant, this means keeping the home clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming. Your environment will reflect your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning, you’ll do so with kindness and care.

You should have excellent time management and organisational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. Strong communication skills, including listening and giving clear instructions, are essential. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional related training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We offer full training and a variety of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
