Billing Operations Analyst Tachbrook Park Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid About the Role: We are looking for a motivated, detail‑focused, and analytical individual to join our team as a Billing Operations Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and improving the customer billing journey. As part of Calor’s Billing Operations function, you will be a business owner for the billing systems and processes that generate our customer invoices. You will help ensure billing is timely, complete, and accurate, and you’ll act as a subject matter expert for all things billing. In this role, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders and customers to deliver the best possible billing experience. You’ll support the delivery of change initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and safeguard the key performance indicators that underpin our core responsibilities. What you’ll be doing Monitoring billing systems and processes to ensure invoices are issued on time, complete, and accurate — including identifying errors, troubleshooting issues, and working with IT to resolve system-related problems. Supporting Customer Service and Collections teams by handling billing enquiries, resolving disputes, and providing reporting that helps them deliver excellent customer service. Correcting billing errors identified through Billing Operations’ daily controls or raised by other areas of the business, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and accurately. Developing, maintaining, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for Billing Operations, using insights to highlight risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Driving operational efficiency by identifying process improvements, implementing automation opportunities, and supporting a continuous improvement culture. Creating and maintaining billing procedures and training materials, ensuring processes are clearly documented and accessible for both new and existing team members. Managing third‑party vendors to ensure they meet contractual service levels, deliver services cost‑effectively, and contribute to optimised billing processes that enable invoices to be sent as quickly as possible. What we’re looking for Essential skills: Strong computer literacy with excellent data analysis abilities. Ability to analyse large datasets, spotting discrepancies, and recognising patterns that support operational enhancements. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring billing processes remain timely, complete, and correct. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of billing issues and implement effective corrective actions. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or complex billing issues to non‑technical stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Experience working with billing systems and extracting data from databases to support business needs and improve data quality. Desirable skills: 3 years’ experience in Billing Operations, Accounts Receivable, or a related financial operations environment. Experience with data analytics tools or BI reporting platforms to support insight generation and decision‑making. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross‑functional team. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to billing, invoicing, or financial operations. Why apply?
