About the Higher Level Teaching Assistant role:

As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant, youll have the chance to work in a primary school in Leeds. The school is based centrally to the Leeds area and you will be working with a variety of students on a whole class and 1:1 basis.



Key Responsibilities as an Higher Level Teaching Assistant:

* Provide 1:1 and group support for children, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their goals.
* Assist in implementing tailored learning and behaviour plans for pupils with a range of needs.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
* Support pupils emotional and social development, encouraging independence and confidence.
* Adapt to new settings quickly, bringing energy and a proactive approach to each school you work in.



What Were Looking For in a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:

* Experience in SEN: Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
