Job Summary
Part time post – 30 hours per week. This role is ideal for those who have recently developed a passion for infection prevention & control (IP&C) and seek to educate staff on embedding IP&C standards.
Responsibilities
* Promote best practice in IP&C across the Trust.
* Audit clinical practice in relation to infection prevention and control.
* Deliver training at ward level and on formal sessions, including Care Certificate.
* Support IP&C clinical professionals by carrying out a wide range of tasks to a high standard.
Qualifications & Experience
Self‑motivated, experienced and caring care support worker with proven experience in providing care and a passion for IP&C. Ability to work to a high standard and support clinical professionals in a busy environment.
Eligibility Conditions
* Enhanced DBS check – a cost of £54.50 will be deducted from your first Trust salary.
* Must join the DBS update service and pay an annual subscription fee of £16.
