The Opportunity
We have a new opportunity for a Structural BIM Designer who is excited by technically challenging work on cutting-edge projects to join our creative and collaborative Building Engineering Team in the Midlands (based in our Nottingham office). You’ll be part of a growing multidisciplinary team of over 110 engineers and BIM designers across the region
Our projects span the globe, offering the opportunity to thrive in an international, multicultural environment. You’ll contribute to some of the most innovative and inspiring buildings worldwide, working alongside leading architects. Current and recent projects include rail infrastructure, major science and industry developments, university buildings, and complex, sustainable residential and healthcare facilities.
In this role, as a Structural BIM Designer, you will be responsible for production of our structural BIM models and drawings to communicate our design. You will be the focal point for collaborative BIM delivery, attending coordination workshops and collaborating with other project stakeholders to develop the design. Beyond your projects you will provide technical support to the wider team and look to mentor future apprentices as the team grows.
Experience in reinforced concrete detailing, implementation of BIM Execution Plans, and an interest in automation are highly valued.

Is this role right for you?
We’re looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:
In-depth knowledge of Autodesk Revit, including model setup, modelling and drawing production.
A strong background in Structural BIM delivery and coordination, across a range of project sectors and stages.
Strong communication skills at all levels with regular reporting to structural engineering leads and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
Have, or are working towards, a relevant professional qualification (for example IstructE or ICE EngTech).
Experience using Autodesk Forma (previously Autodesk Construction Cloud) is an advantage but not essential.
