Marine Engineer (Electrical) Marine applications Permanent £40,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prototype Wireman / Panel Builder to join our engineering and production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical panels and prototype systems to support product development and small-scale manufacturing. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for high-quality electrical work. Responsibilities will include: Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings. Assemble control panels, prototype units, and junction boxes to specification. Wire electrical components such as relays, contactors, PLCs, switches, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks. Perform mechanical assembly including drilling, tapping, and mounting of components.
