You will take full responsibility for a client portfolio and support the designated management team and partners. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients - corporate and personal Review taxation and provide technical guidance to clients and staff, as necessary Supervise and guide assignments as necessary to make sure all filing deadlines and related time limits are met Supervise the team and work completion, delegating as required, and ensuring effective delivery of work and targets are monitored and achieved. Assist with departmental management and administration, including staff appraisals and general staff issues Coach, support, supervise and train team members Contribute to the development and management of the department, i.e.business development, quality, resource planning. Keep technically up to date with attendance at courses, personal reading and research Advisory Tax work The Person: Successful candidates will have broad current/recent Corporate or Mixed Tax experience gained from ideally working in another UK Practice Firm, with excellent technical knowledge, and proven experience of taxation compliance and review, supervisory skills and an excellent communicator in order to build relationships with clients and colleagues. You will have a positive and confident approach to work, be able to work as part of a team or on lone assignments, have proven time management and organisational skills and will be passionate about excellent customer service. Ideally you will be ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent). With proven organisational skills and ability to takes ownership of tasks, you will be highly client focussed with an enthusiastic, flexible approach to work and your team.
