Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Commercial Financial Controller will:
3. Lead monthly analysis of financial results and key performance drivers
4. Own the annual planning and forecasting process across the UK division
5. Partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain to support commercial decisions
6. Oversee financial governance of promotional and marketing accruals
7. Lead financial assessment of new product development and launches
8. Manage SG&A and manufacturing cost centre forecasting and reporting
9. Own the intercompany P&L and ensure profitability is understood
10. Line manage the Commercial Accountant and lead finance improvement projects
The Successful Applicant
The successful Commercial Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with:
11. Significant experience in commercial finance, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods
12. Strong FP&A and commercial finance background
13. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making
14. Experience managing teams and leading transformation projects
15. High level of analytical thinking and commercial acumen.
